The Higher Education Student Finance Forum Mission and Value Statement is to add valuable contributions towards continuous improvement and development in the student finance administration function within the higher and further education sector in Southern Africa, in conjunction with the private sector’s credit control and financial service providers and collection agencies.

• Promoting liaison and cooperation between the student finance administration personnel private sector’s credit control and financial service providers and collection agencies.
• promoting collegiality among the members of the Forum
• defining and sharing best practice trends in the field
• identifying and addressing common challenges relevant to the function
• creating both a national and international platform for benchmarking, sharing of skills, knowledge and experiences
• acting as advisory body in the field of student finance administration
• helping to improve service standards to both internal and external customers
• promoting the continuous professional development of its members
• defining of, and adherence to, a professional code of conduct.
